Issue occurs in all Microsoft applications, I can use Outlook, some times I can attach attachments and email them, most of the time I get an error, only way around it is to restart my computer and that's only a temporary fix.Only way I can view Microsoft Word or Excel files is to put them online in a One Drive and view from there.I didn't have these issues with Microsoft Office 2011. Suggestion above was to make sure application was updated, I'm using:Microsoft Outlook for Macversion 16.131. Permission error on mac.

ISSUE

Nov 14, 2019 This problem occurs if the underlying file system is formatted as case-sensitive. In this scenario, the file is named OsfCore.framework. However, Outlook 2016 for Mac looks for a file that is named osfcore.framework and cannot find the file inside the app bundle. 2019-11-21  I have a mac and as soon as Catalina was installed when I click open office nothing happens. I had to temporarily download Libreoffice so I could use files. I have performed all the Q/A's I believe properly and even found the code to make gatekeeper make the box appear in settings to allow other app. Any assistance would be immensely appreciated. My configuration: Mac mini 2018 with 32GB, with eGPU ASUS XG Station Pro with Radeon Rx 580. I made a clean install with Catalina, using Parallels 15 with latest updates, using in Parallels Windows 10 with latest updates. Does anybody have the same problem? Have you upgraded to Mac OS Catalina? The Mac OS Catalina upgrade caused Microsoft Word to crash if the Word user had certain add-ins installed. WordRake was one of the incompatible add-ins. A solution is now available for WordRake users. If you install a new version of WordRake, it will resolve the incompatibility and Word will not crash.

After upgrading to Catalina (OSX 15.0), Word crashes when creating or opening a doc. This is an issue caused by the WordRake add-in.

STATUS: FIXED

To address this, WordRake has released an update that you can download here. Alternatively, you can just remove the add-in to fix the issue.
